Artwork Brief:
This is a sky silhouette of a city,
is a denunciation of life,
This is an abnormally heavy kite,
is a competition of finding freedom, pursuing a dream,
This is a metal mirror surfaced kite,
is a reality reflection carrier;
This is a notice to ban kite flying,
is an action to confronting inequality.
Pulling the city and the kite together, it would be a contradiction.
Kite symbolizes humanity, belong to the natural world and Liberal. According to the law, public can not fly a kite above sixty meters height from the ground, and no less than sixty meter away from the boats, cars or buildings. It means they do not have the freedom of flying under the law. If the world are full of building, where can the kite go?
Taking a step further, If "kite" is a metaphor to "human life",
When a kite in the city, What would it lose?
When people in the society, What would they lose?
是一種對生活控訴的表現;
是一個追求自由,追尋夢想的鬥爭;
是一個反映現實的載體;
