Architecture determines the appearance of a city.
It also represents human’s life.
It brings human and space into harmony.
Hong Kong is a city being dominated by commercial activities.
People work for living and live for working like a robot.
Life lost its meaning under this repeating rhythm.
At the same time, talent is lost. Dream is lost, too.
Besides of wealth, status and fame,
should we be conscious of our lifestyle?
What are people busy with?
Why am I busy? Why do I keep painting?
What is the goal of life?
Outside the city,
there are glamorous lights and prosperous streets.
The rhythm of lines and distribution of space create a beauty of structure.
Inside the city,
it is abstract, lively and unstable.
It is full of chaos, rise and fall, true and false, cold and warm.
It seems to be free but is being constrained.
It is a love-hate relationship between the city and I.

建築象徵城市人的生活，
它巧妙地配合著人和生活對空間的改造。
香港,商業架構支配著而運行的城市
人們彷彿機械式地為生活而工作，而又為工作而生活。
在重複的節奏中，生活像欠缺了意義，
同時也埋沒了才華,埋沒了理想,
除了金錢、地位、名譽以外，
不能對屬於自己的生活態度而感悟多一份知覺？
城市人怱忙著甚麼?
生存目的為了甚麼?
城市的表面
有著燦爛的燈火,繁華的都市,
建築的空間分佈、及其線條的節奏與結構的美，
城市的內裡
是抽象,是活躍不穩定.
混混亂亂,起起伏伏,真真假假,冷冷暖暖,規規限限
似自由但束縛的心情
對著這個城市,只能說是又愛又恨
